Peninsula Eye Centre is excited to announce that, this week, Dr Elvis Ojami, commenced performing vitreoretinal surgery at Beleura Private Hospital, Mornington!

Peninsula Eye Centre is now the first, and only, ophthalmic clinic on the Mornington Peninsula to offer its patients comprehensive, world-class eye care, performed locally, with our highly regarded and experienced ophthalmologists operating right here on the Mornington Peninsula.

Importantly, the majority of our patients and, in particular, those who are elderly or unwell, will no longer be required to travel to the city for treatment.

Beleura Private Hospital has recently invested in the newest, state-of-the-art vitreoretinal technology – and the “first” retinal surgical set-up on the Mornington Peninsula.  The Constellation Vision System LXT, with embedded purepoint laser, allows ophthalmologists to treat conditions such as epiretinal membranes, macular holes, retinal detachments and diabetic eye diseases.

It’s an exciting development, which complements Peninsula Eye Centre’s technology and expertise, and strengthens our capacity to continue to offer sophisticated eye care to Mornington Peninsula residents in their own back yard.
